Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Crescera Systems (“we,” “us,” located in Gilbert, Arizona, USA) handles information in connection with Domain Watchdog (the “Service”). We keep what we collect deliberately minimal.
1. Information We Collect
- Account email address — used to identify your account and to deliver your expiry alerts.
- The domain names you ask us to monitor, along with any optional internal notes you attach to them (for example, which client a domain belongs to).
- Billing information — processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Basic operational logs — limited technical records needed to run and secure the Service.
2. How We Use Information
- To run daily RDAP lookups on the domains you monitor;
- To send you escalating expiry alert emails via Amazon Web Services (AWS) SES;
- To process your subscription and provide support;
- To maintain the security and reliability of the Service.
3. RDAP and Public Registry Data
To monitor a domain we query its registry’s public RDAP record. RDAP data is public registration data published by domain registries and registrars; we retrieve it, we do not originate it. We use it only to determine expiration dates and send you alerts.
4. We Do Not Sell Your Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or your monitored-domain list. We share data only with the service providers needed to operate the Service (for example, our cloud hosting, email delivery via AWS SES, and payment processor), and only as required to provide it to you, or where required by law.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account email and monitored-domain list for as long as your account is active. After you cancel and your account is closed, we delete or anonymize this data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations.
6. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable cloud infrastructure — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and limit access to it.
7. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and (for California residents) to know what we collect and to opt out of any “sale” of personal information (we do not sell it). To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@domainwatchdog.app. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
8. Children
The Service is intended for businesses and professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time and will update the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email.
